NUMBER ASSIGNMENTS. TUBERS WILL HAVE STAGGERED STARTS.

Club members will be there to assign your entry number and take or check off waivers.

Tubers will be transported starting at 10:00 am.

  • Set Up and Ground Rules

You will get your tubes at the put in location but please get costumed up & ready at the check in location (pavilion at the PR Gardens). Tubers will be graded as they pass the judges along the river (see criteria).

All team members’ tubes must be connected to each other throughout the race.

Costumes and decorations CAN NOT be allowed to trash the river – you will be responsible for retrieving.

NO paddles or motors of any kind can be used. You can get creative & come up with ways to maneuver & propel your team.

Please observe the Recreation Park rules, which includes no alcohol allowed.

  • Competition Criteria

You CANNOT start the race if you do not have waiver completed (this can be done online – see link below. Team captains can fill out just 1 waiver but must include all team member names).

Tubers must be 18yrs or older or accompanied by an adult.

Be competitive – but always use good sportsmanship – REMEMBER, you are being timed from YOUR START TIME to the FINISH LINE. We’re doing this so everyone can enjoy the river – there may be tubers out there that are not part of the event.

At the finish line, club members will be there to assist you out of the river. Take your time getting out & REMEMBER, your finish time is when you get to the takeout point (BEARWATERS) – not when you’re untied & back on dry land.

  • Late?

PLEASE Be On Time – the transport bus will take tubers to the put in point AFTER they have been assigned a number. NO LATE STARTS, FINAL TRANSPORT @ 12:00 PM

  • Judging Criteria

FOR JUDGING, YOU MUST DISPLAY YOUR TEAM # OR NAME FOR JUDGES.

Tubers or teams will be judged for best costumes/decorations/wackiest/funniest etc.
